Weathering the Storm

Sandy has come and gone, but there are so many people who have been affected by this storm.  Erin who writes the blog "My Patchwork Life" has sent out a call for blocks to make quilts for those in need.  If you would like to help, please go over to Erin's blog.  She has posted a short tutorial and instructions for mailing the blocks.  The quilt block is the Disappearing 4-patch.  It was my first time making this block and it was very easy.  I am contributing the 2 blocks pictured here.
